FAMILY: Brachiosauridae.
ERA: Early Cretaceous ( Albian 112.2 - 98.9 Ma ).
SIZE: Length 23 m (75 ft).
LOCATION: South America.
FOSSILS: 2 partial skeletons with limb elements and caudal vertebra e.
COMMENTS: When originally found, Chubutisaurus was put in its own family. Its forelimbs were shorter than the hind limbs and it had big hollows in the backbone and probably a relatively short tail.
SPECIES LIST:
