The Triceratops was the last of the great horned dinosaurs that roamed the face of the earth. An imposing creature approximately the size of a modern automobile, this beast weighed nearly ten tons. Though the Triceratops was herbivorous, or a plant eater, it was nonetheless, equipped with three protruding horns that were firmly anchored to its armored head.
