There are close-up shots of the gentle and gangly brontosaurus snacking on tree leaves, and high-action shots of the king dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus Rex, attacking the spiky Stegosaurus. Dinosaur babies hatch from their eggs, as (a caption explains) “The heat of the sun hatched abandoned eggs.” The settings for this prehistoric slide show are equally realistic with burnt-orange and adobe-red lava lands and distant jagged mountain ranges. Ankylosaurus was covered by tough, rounded bony plates that were keeled, like the bottom of an overturned boat.
